Frequently asked questions.

How long does restringing take?

I aim to return every racket within 36 hours. Since I’m a full-time student and competitive player, timing may vary slightly around school and training, but quick turnaround is always my goal.

Do you offer same-day service?

Occasionally, yes! If my school and tennis schedule allows, I can offer same-day restringing for an additional fee. Email me to check availability.

How do I know when it’s time to restring?

A few signs:

  • Your racket feels “dead” or stiff

  • Your shots fly farther than intended

  • Strings look frayed or notched

  • You’re losing spin

  • You play often (6–10+ hours a week)

How often should I restring?

  • If you are a beginner and just starting, every 3 - 6 months

  • If you are an intermediate player, every 1 - 3 months

  • If you are an advanced/competitive player, you will know when you need to come see me :)

What string tension should my racket have?

Your racket will oftentimes have a recommended tension range on the inside of the racket. Choose something in the middle of that if you are a beginner.

  • 52 - 65: WIll give you more control, more precision, a stiffer feel but less power

  • 45 - 51: Will give you more power + comfort, but not as much control

  • 40 - 65: Higher tension

How do I pay?

Payment can be made during pickup via:

  • Cash

  • Venmo
